New Orleans - Day 3
Our last day in New Orleans was spent with more sightseeing, pictures of different doorways, and awesome food. We got to experience a 3-course prix-fixe menu at August, a John Besh restaurant. Being the foodie I am, I couldn't forgot some pics of food as well! :)

Anthony's Birthday - Catered
We've apparently reached a point in our lives where we have catered birthday parties. What?!? When did that happen? Anyhow, it's something Anthony wanted for his birthday and this caterer was all about farm to table which is right up Anthony's alley. It turned out awesome!!! The food was amazing and Jocelyn was incredible; she took care of everything. Looks like we might have more of these "fancy" parties! :) My favorite where the little meatballs..yummy!!!

10 Year Wedding Anniversary @ The French Laundry
I'm so very lucky. I not only have 2 wonderful children but I also have a wonderful husband who hit redial over 250 times to get us a reservation at The French Laundry for our 10 year wedding anniversary. I have never been so I was looking forward to all the yummy food! :) We could only get a reservation for four so we dragged my sister and good friend ours to lunch with us. Half of us got the Tasting of Vegetables and the other half the Chef's Tasting Menu. I'm only posting pics of some highlights since pictures of all the courses would just fill up the page. It was definitely a meal worth experiencing. I'm hoping I'll be able to make it back her some time in the future.

Oliveto's Whole Hog Dinner
We were lucky to have grandma in town during Oliveto's Whole Hog Dinner. Anthony and I were able to sneak out for a night (on a school night) to have a nice dinner to ourselves. I'm a big fan of pork so everything on the menu looked delicious!

Farewell to Cyrus
The first time I ate at Cyrus (Healdsburg, CA) was in 2007, before I had either of my kids. At the time, it was my most favorite restaurant. The food blew me away. When I heard that Cyrus was closing down, I had to go back one last time. We ordered the tasting menu and once again, delicious! Definitely one of my top 5 places to eat for fine dining. So long Cyrus, you will be missed!

Anniversary Dinner: Boulevard
It's hard to believe that I'm celebrating my 7th Wedding Anniversary. With two kids, it's so hard to get out of the house for a nice dinner so I'm thankful my mother-in-law was in town to help watch the kids. We enjoyed a lovely dinner for two at Boulevard in San Francisco.
