New Orleans - Day 3

Our last day in New Orleans was spent with more sightseeing, pictures of different doorways, and awesome food.  We got to experience a 3-course prix-fixe menu at August, a John Besh restaurant.  Being the foodie I am, I couldn't forgot some pics of food as well! :)

New Orleans - Day 2

On Day 2, I continued my obsession with doorway pictures but this time while experiencing different live street musicians, visiting craftsmen that use copper to make lanterns, and eating yummy treats!

New Orleans - Day 1

This is our family's first time visiting New Orleans.  This city has so much character, textures, and colors.  It's a photographer's dream.  I had to bribe the kids with Gummi Bears to get them to pose next to every colorful doorway we came across.  They were such good sports about it too!

Austin loved riding the cable car but Kaiya was not as amused.  Of course, no trip to New Orleans is complete without a stop for Beignets.  As crazy as it may sound, neither of the kids cared for this delicious treat.

Atlanta Day 3: Piedmont Park

On our last day in Atlanta we spent some family time walking around Piedmont Park and playing on the playground.  It's such a beautiful park, it was used to film "What to expect when expecting".  After that we had a little extra time, so Kaiya, my sister and I did a quick run through the Jimmy Carter museum.

I love having the opportunity to capture family memories while traveling and seeing other places.  Next, we're off to New Orleans!

Atlanta Day 2: Martin Luther King Jr.

While in Atlanta, we took the opportunity to visit a historic site and instill a little bit of history in the kids.  The kids got to learn about a different time and so did I.  Martin Luther King Jr. is a great man!

Atlanta Day 1: Ponce City Market

This was our first time visiting Ponce City Market in Atlanta, GA.  I love visiting new places.  While there we walked through this artsy area when artists could sell their work and I came across this window that I couldn't resist taking a picture of.  Kaiya was doing her typical thing, reading, and Austin was ready to head back home.  Not a bad way to spend Valentine's Day.
