Markham Nature Park & Arboretum: Cadence (4.5), Katherine (2.5), and Cameron (1)

We were a little worried if this photoshoot was even going to happen due to the rain.  Luckily, it cleared it up later that day and we were on our merrily way.  This was a beautiful location that I've never been to before.  And it turned out to be quite a popular spot for family pictures.

The last time I did a shoot for this family they were a family of 4 with one on the way.  It was so nice to meet baby Cameron.  He was a super star during the whole thing.  And the girls, happy and beautiful as always.  It was a little more challenging with 3 kids under 5, but we made it work and let the kids play and interact with the environment more and it turned out great.  At the end of the shoot, the girls got to play and jump in a large puddle of water.  I'm pretty sure that was their favorite part!

Santana Row: Elliott (8)

It was so great to see this family again.  Elliott is now 8 and becoming more of a pro with each photoshoot.  He showed no signs of nerves and was quite the chatterbox.  He was not shy in front of the camera.  He even brought out the silly side of  mom and dad.

Santana Row turned out to be a great location for photoshoots since it has so many details and different spaces to work.  I really loved this location!

Santana Row: Camille (7) & Sophie (3)

Living in the south bay, sometimes it's harder to find great locations for that urban feel when compared to San Francisco.  Santana Row, however, is the perfect location.  There are so many options for different looks and feels that I was like a kid in a candy store.  And this was the perfect family to do this shoot with.

I've really enjoyed watching these sisters grow up through the years and look forward to spending time with them every year.  This year, they even called me their "Bestie".  I'm so lucky!

Baby Maia (5 months)

Baby Maia was such a great sport during the photoshoot and a real trooper.  Of course with her parents all smiles and laughs it's hard to not stay in good spirits.  I wish I had two cameras.  One to capture baby Maia and one to capture all that mom and dad do to get baby to smile.  I'm glad I was a able to capture a few of those moments and sneak in a photo of just mom and dad as well.
