Washington DC Day 4 - The Last Day

This was our last day in DC and it happened to be the cherry blossom festival as well.  We started the day visiting the Kennedy center and then walked through the National Mall to visit the different monuments.  We visited the Lincoln and Marin Luther King Jr. Memorial.  It was super crowded!  Being the tourist that we were, we tried to take pictures next to some pink flowered trees (what we originally thought were a cherry blossoms…hey…it made sense to me that a cherry blossom should be pink).  It turned out they were Magnolias.  Anyway, we eventually figured out that cherry blossoms are white! :)
