Layla (2)

I was very honored to photograph the family of a long time friend for the first time.  We decided to meet up at their beautiful home to have a chance to catch some pictures with the new addition to the family, Haigo (the dog).  Haigo was super friendly and will definitely be best friends with 2 year old Layla.  Layla was a little shy at first but warmed up a little once she got to hold her favorite recent gift, a pomegranate.  It added to the festiveness.   Unfortunately, as time went on, Layla decided she was done.  Sometimes the not so happy pictures make great memories too! =)
