Lake Tahoe: Last of the snow

Since the kids had such a great time in Big Bear over the holidays, we wanted to squeeze in one last "snow" trip.  We headed to Lake Tahoe in hopes of there being some snow remaining that the kids could sled on.  It had rained the night before so we were hoping that meant some new snow.  The drive up didn't look promising.  There was no snow but as we climbed higher into the mountains, it started to snow.  It made quit an intense drive with the snow and it being super dark (nightfall).  Anyway, there was just enough snow to get in one day of sledding!
