Cherry Picking

I haven't gone cherry-picking since I was a kid but I remember it being lots of fun. This year we finally took Kaiya cherry picking. It was about an hour and half drive but well worth it. We passed windmills over the hillside that made me feel like I wasn't in California anymore.

This was taken through the car window while the car was moving. (No, I wasn't driving)
We ended up with ~10lbs of cherries. Kaiya had a blast! There was also a peach picking at a neighboring farm. We only picked a few of those, since one can only eat so many peaches. Here's Kaiya with her awesome Auntie.

  1. I think we passed those same windmills on our way to Discovery Bay. Did you see signs that said something like "Drive safe. Stay Alive."?
