Daniel Boulud Brasserie at the Wynn Hotel

I have yearly tradition with a set friends where we go out to nice dinners together instead of exchanging traditional Christmas gifts. Lately, that tradition seems to include a trip to Vegas as well! :) This year we decided on Daniel Boulud at the Wynn Hotel. None of the entrees seemed that appealing to me so I opted for 2 appetizers and side instead.

Before getting to the pictures of the food, I have one small funny story to share about our experience at the Wynn. Because none of us were staying near the Wynn we decided to drive instead. We only had our friend's parents' minivan that could fit all of us and it definitely wasn't the kind you'd be showing off to friends. Anyway, we pulled up to the valet at the Wynn who promptly told us valet parking was full and only available to guests staying at the hotel. He suggested we self-park. We were already cutting it close on time and didn't really want to spend time finding the self-park lot. My friend Mark asked if it made a difference if we were dining at the hotel. The valet proceeded to ask which restaurant and when we said Daniel Boulud, he was suddenly willing to valet the car for us, no problem. Good thing Mark was smart enough to ask. Hint, hint for anyone who wants to valet their car at the Wynn you now know what to say! :)
